Sponsors... Sort-of
YRU-Up is looking for local businesses to help sponsor our show.
Well, technically, to help "underwrite" the show. (We're not allowed to have "sponsors", but we can plug businesses who help us out... Like the Ch. 2 "commercials")

But Hey, I don't own a business!
Ok, maybe not... But we'll bet you KNOW someone who can help us!
If your brother is the manager of Pizza Hut, or your father's-niece's-brother's-wife's-son's-dog's-mother works at your local ringtone retailer, give them a call and tell them why it would be the best thing ever if they could get their company to sponsor YRU-Up.
Think. Who do you know that works somewhere? (Hey, that's a start!)

What's in it for me?
If your contacts help partner us with an on-going sponsor, you get $50 cold cash
Yup. Fifty Bucks. Just for helping to be a "Matchmaker", (sponsor-ickly speaking).
If you connect us to TWO sponsors (say, both Mom's business and Dad's...) you get 100 bucks.
Hey, did we mention this offer is open to people of ALL ages?

What Kind of Business would wanna partner with YRU-Up?
If the business wants to get local teens to spend money at THEIR place, they should invest a coupla bucks at OUR place!
We need both stuff we can use for the cast/crew (like FOOD!) and stuff we can give away for prizes (Passes to movie theatres, Gift certificates/cards for electronics stores, hair salons, gerbil spas...)

Steps to 50 bucks:

1. Think about someone you know who's got somethin' we want.
2. Contact your peeps and see if they're interested in talking to us
3. E-mail us at yru-up@bectv.org with the business name and your contact's name and number
4. We have our people talk to their people, they do lunch, a deal is struck, you get cash.
